College Tours

College Tours allows high school sophomores and juniors in the Memphis area to gain exposure to college by touring college campuses across the South for four days each year. Most of these students would not have the opportunity to step onto a college campus or to venture out of the Memphis area without this program. By making college tangible, College Tours promotes high school graduation and college attendance, assists in the college application processes, and provides resources and help for those students in college in order to ensure their success and graduation. College Tours also ensures that relationships between the students and staff members are continued once the trip is over. Streets’ staff seeks to serve as a resource for the students and the students are able to form new perspectives and expand their minds.
